A multitude of Irish musicians are heading across the pond to the US to perform at the SXSW festival in Texas.
The South By Southwest festival, abbreviated to SXSW, takes place in the cultural hub of Austin in the Southern US state of Texas every March and celebrates the “convergence of tech, film, music, education, and culture.”
This year a whopping 11 Irish acts will be showcasing across the festival and are grabbing a plane to head to the city to play gigs starting on March 10 up to March 19. They join a line-up of hundreds of artists from every corner of the globe.
