1000-lb Sisters viewers slammed Amy Slaton's "toxic sibling" behaviour towards sister Tammy as the new season airs on TLC in the USA.
Fans hit out at the reality star's outbursts towards her sister in the network's new season four premiere, released in America only yesterday.
Following Amy and Tammy's weight loss journey, the new series will include plenty of drama – including Tammy's hospital trip and stint in rehab.
Explosive trailers already showed a snippet of chaos, with Amy telling cameras that Tammy needed a "b***h-orcist", as opposed to an exorcist.
"Instead of an exorcist, we need somebody to exorcise the b***h out of Tammy," she said.
But as the first episode aired, fans were quick to jump to social media to discuss the siblings' relationship and its ups and downs.
Speaking of Amy, one said: "Especially since season three, almost every time she would have her speech to camera, she would rant again and again how much she's done with Tammy.
"How much she wants to move on from Tammy and how much Tammy is a burden to her."
Taking to Reddit, they explained: "But I don't remember them having a face to face honest conversation about it."
The reality TV fan expressed her upset at Tammy becoming a "villain", detailing how they began to 'feel sorry' for her throughout the show.
"And people online cheer her on because Tammy has basically became the villain of the story," they said. "The toxic sibling free to trash on at all times. And I believe it's a little not fair."
"I feel like she should know that expressing constant will to dump your sister in every other episode would only make Tammy feel more unwanted and seek to the dependence even more."
Another replied: "Agree. Tammy is a big giant pain in the butt with a massive food addiction, but Amy is smug and condescending and self-righteous.
"Started disliking her when she got pregnant with Gage, against doctor's orders."
While another viewer added to the debate: "I feel sorry for Tammy too."
In Amy's defence, another blasted: "I think Amy was a saint to put up with her sister's abuse for as long as she did."
"It’s not as if Tammy doesn’t know she’s a burden. She’s been kicked out of every family member’s home at some point," another wrote.
