The Week 16 schedule offers an impressive slate of NFL games, but none more hyped than the Christmas night battle between the two teams with the league’s best records (11-3) square off on ABC’s Monday Night Football.
Entering the Week 16 games, the Ravens own the AFC’s No. 1 playoff seed, holding a one-game lead over the Miami Dolphins (10-4), while San Francisco currently stands No. 1 in the NFC playoff race.
With kickoff fast approaching, we’re looking at 10 stats to know for Monday night
Recent history
Baltimore is 4-2 all time against the 49ers, including its Super Bowl XLVII victory during the 2012 season. These teams last faced each other in 2019, when the Ravens won, 20-17, courtesy of a
last-second, 49-yard K Justin Tucker FG at M&T Bank Stadium.
Ravens defense is stout
4.41: The NFL-best yards-per-play average allowed by the Ravens’ defense this season.
Lamar Jackson true dual threat
Lamar Jackson has now rushed for at least 700 yards in five consecutive seasons. No other QB in NFL history has more than three 700-yard rushing seasons in a career.
Kyle Hamilton on historic path
Kyle Hamilton has 10 tackles for loss and 10 passes defended, becoming the first Raven ever to achieve those marks in a single season and the first NFL defensive back to do so since Tyrann Mathieu in 2015.
All Lamar does is win
Lamar Jackson’s career record in December is 15-3, as the Ravens star has passed 2,950 yards, 29 TDs and 6 INTs (101.4 rating). In these 18 contests, he’s also rushed for 1,265 yards and 8 TDs.
Ravens are going to run the football

Brock Purdy has been outstanding

Deebo and CMC
Last week against the Cardinals, 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey registered 187 yards from scrimmage, 2 receiving touchdowns and 1 rushing touchdown, while wide receiver Deebo Samuel added 4 catches for 48 yds. and 2 TDs.
McCaffrey’s 3 total TDs gave him 13 rushing TDs and 7 receiving TDs on the season. Samuel’s 2 receiving touchdowns gave him 5 this season in addition to his 6 rushing scores.
With McCaffrey (13 rushing TDs & 7 rec. TDs) and Deebo Samuel (5 rushing TDs & 6 rec. TDs), the 49ers are the first team in NFL history to have multiple players with 5-or-more rushing TDs and 5-or-more rec. TDs in the same season.
