Tottenham Hotspur blew the title race wide open as Harry Kane's brilliance inspired a stunning victory over Manchester City at the Etihad.
Liverpool got the job done against Norwich and are now within touching distance of Pep Guardiola's champions.
Meanwhile, the race for the top four is also heating up after victories for Arsenal, Manchester United and Wolves.
Relegation-threatened Watford and Burnley also secured wins that could alter the course of their season.

It would perhaps have been too abrupt to suggest City were already cruising to a fourth title in five years before Spurs, and namely Harry Kane, rolled into town.
But such was their indomitable excellence, even the slightest of blips seemed inconceivable.
One defeat, however, and the title race has been blown wide open.
City dominated Conte's men for large periods but couldn't take advantage, and are now looking over their shoulder towards Merseyside.
The Kane show
This really was the case of 'here's what you could have won' for City and Kane had a point to prove.
This was not the Harry Kane of this season but rather the player Etihad chiefs were prepared to pay a nine-figure sum for in the summer to take them to European glory.
Of course, obstinate Spurs supremo Daniel Levy stayed stubborn and Kane stayed put in North London after four attempts from Guardiola to turn him Sky Blue.
Kane's majesty in Manchester could finally kickstart his season and Antonio Conte's Spurs have a real chance of fourth spot with their talisman back firing.
Liverpool on the march
A dream weekend for Jurgen Klopp and a dream weekend for Anfield's new Colombian hero.
The Reds secured a gutsy win over Norwich and Luis Diaz opened his account against the relegation-battling Canaries.
