Authorities in New Mexico are currently investigating a tragic incident involving the disappearance of a 10-month-old girl, Eleia Maria Torres, following the discovery of two deceased women at Ned Houk Park near Clovis. The New Mexico State Police issued an Amber Alert for Eleia, who is described as 28 inches tall, weighing 23 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.
Upon responding to the scene at Ned Houk Park, officers from the Clovis Police Department found the bodies of 23-year-old Samantha Cisneros and 23-year-old Taryn Allen near a silver minivan. Additionally, a five-year-old girl, believed to be Cisneros' daughter, was found with a head injury and was promptly taken to a hospital for medical attention.
Authorities discovered items such as an infant car seat, stroller, and a baby bottle at the scene, leading them to suspect that Eleia may have been present during the tragic events. Further investigation revealed that Cisneros was the mother of both the injured five-year-old girl and Eleia, with police speculating that the perpetrator may have abducted the 10-month-old.
Law enforcement officials have indicated that there is currently no identified suspect in the case but believe that the individual responsible may have fled in a maroon Honda. The investigation into this heartbreaking incident is ongoing as authorities work diligently to locate Eleia and bring those responsible to justice.
