
Authorities have confirmed a total of 10 injuries resulting from the Mountain Fire, which has primarily been attributed to smoke inhalation. Fortunately, all injuries are reported to be non-life threatening, providing some relief amidst the ongoing crisis. Ventura County Sheriff Jim Fryhoff shared this information, emphasizing the nature of the injuries sustained by individuals affected by the fire.
As part of the emergency response efforts, the sheriff's office has undertaken evacuation measures to ensure the safety of residents in the affected areas. A total of 400 homes have been evacuated by the authorities, with an additional 250 residents opting to remain in their homes despite the potential risks posed by the fire. In a proactive approach, officials also conducted door-to-door checks on 800 homes, which appeared to have already been evacuated by their occupants.
