Trade deadlines in fantasy football leagues are creeping closer as we get deeper into the month of November. Here are five players you should be looking to trade for before your league’s deadline, and five players you should be looking to trade away now.
Trade For ’Em
Dak Prescott, QB, Cowboys

Prescott hasn’t been super consistent in the stat sheets, but a favorable slate makes him a trade candidate. He has many good matchups the rest of the year, including games against the Commanders, Eagles and Dolphins. Those defenses have been among the top 10 most generous for fantasy quarterbacks. Other potential favorable opponents are the Giants, Panthers and a home game versus Seattle.
Derrick Henry, RB, Titans
Henry has one of the easiest schedules among backs in the fantasy playoffs, as he’ll face the Texans twice and the Seahawks. He has owned Houston during his career, rushing for over 200 yards against them four different times since 2019 including twice in 2020 and once last season. Henry also faces the Panthers and Colts, who have allowed the second- and fifth-most points to backs, respectively.
Isiah Pacheco, RB, Chiefs
Pacheco is coming off his two worst fantasy performances of the season, scoring 6.7 points against the Broncos and 6.6 points against the Dolphins. That makes him a nice buy-low candidate. While a Week 11 game against the Eagles is brutal (K.C. has a bye in Week 10), his remaining schedule includes contests against running back-friendly defenses like the Raiders (twice), Packers, Bills and Patriots.
Brandon Aiyuk, WR, 49ers
Aiyuk has scored fewer than 12 fantasy points in three of his last four games, so now might be the time to trade for him. He has a terrific slate of opponents after the bye week, facing the Jaguars, Buccaneers, Seahawks (twice), Eagles, Cardinals and Commanders. I wouldn’t worry about the eventual return of Deebo Samuel, either, as Aiyuk has established himself as San Francisco’s superior fantasy wideout.
Marquise Brown, WR, Cardinals
Brown did bupkis against the Browns this week, but that gives fantasy managers a chance to buy low on him. He has some favorable matchups upcoming against the Steelers, 49ers, Bears and Seahawks, and those final three games all come during fantasy’s postseason weeks. Brown will also be catching passes from Kyler Murray, who is expected to return to action in the next few weeks. Get Brown on the cheap.

Trade ’Em Away
Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jaguars
Lawrence has failed to meet expectations this season, averaging an unsatisfying 15.1 points per game. That could make it tough to trade him, but the schedule is rough the rest of the season. He’ll face among his toughest opponents, the 49ers, Bengals, Browns, Titans and Ravens. All of those defenses have been among the hardest units for quarterbacks to score fantasy points against this season.
Raheem Mostert, RB, Dolphins

Mostert has been one of the best running backs in fantasy football this season, but will he be as productive and consistent once De’Von Achane returns? He also has some tough matchups against the Commanders, Titans, Cowboys and Ravens. Two matchups against a tough Jets defense won’t be cakewalks, either. You can get a pretty nice haul for Mostert, too, so put him on the block and see what happens.
Saquon Barkley, RB, Giants
The Giants are a dead team, getting blown out by the Raiders while also losing Daniel Jones to an injured knee. With Darren Waller also out, and the thought of Tommy DeVito being under center, the time to deal Barkley is now. Did I forget to mention that he also has one of the toughest schedules among running backs the rest of the season?
Jordan Addison, WR, Vikings
I’m a huge fan of the rookie, but things seem like they’ve going to get tough for him in the coming weeks. First off, he lost his starting quarterback in Kirk Cousins. I like Joshua Dobbs more than the alternatives, but he’s still not in Cousins’s class. There’s a chance Justin Jefferson will be back sooner than later, too, and Vikings wideouts have the third-toughest fantasy schedule for the remainder of the season.
Terry McLaurin, WR, Commanders
I’m a huge fan of McLaurin from a fantasy football standpoint, but his rest-of-season schedule is pretty “scary.” The veteran has a great matchup against Seattle next on the slate, but after that he’s got the Giants, Cowboys, Rams and Jets among his toughest opponents. Among those contests, McLaurin and the Washington receivers have the second-toughest slate during the fantasy football postseason.
