HYDERABAD: To facilitate the exchange of faculty, researchers, and students and provide opportunities for collaborative research projects and publications, principals of 10 colleges under Osmania University (OU) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Monday.
The MoU aims to promote cluster college programme to provide an opportunity to students to discover and learn new things regardless of the field/branch/discipline/institution they are in.
The 10 autonomous colleges signed an MoU to form a cluster in the presence of commissioner of collegiate education Navin Mittal and Telangana State Council for Higher Education chairman R Limbadri among others at OU. “The arrangement will facilitate better teaching-learning through networking of facilities available among best of colleges,” Mittal said.
The colleges part of the programme are St Ann’s College for Women, Mehdipatnam, Loyola Academy, Secunderabad, St Joseph’s Degree & PG College, St Francis College for Women, RBVRR College, Narayanaguda, Bhavan’s Vivekananda College Sainikpuri, Nizam College, Government College for Women, Begumpet, Government City College, and University College for Women, Koti.
