There are just two games left to play in the New Orleans Saints regular season, and they still matter. The team is playing meaningful football at the turn into a new calendar year. Despite their 6-9 record, they’re still alive, and some individual deserve a shoutout for keeping the Saints in the mix now that the playoff picture is developing.
To help illustrate those bright spots, we took a look at the Pro Football Focus player grades for the Saints defense, considering those who have been on the field for at least 200 snaps. That gives us an idea of who is getting into more games and making more positive plays. PFF’s grading is too subjective to be very useful but it’s helpful for a quick glance. Here’s the list:
