The country registered 12 more Covid-19 fatalities and 10,470 new cases during the previous 24 hours, the Public Health Ministry announced on Monday morning.
There were 10,304 local cases and 166 imported ones.
On Sunday, 8,711 Covid-19 patients left hospitals after recovering from the coronavirus.
Since the pandemic started in early 2020, there have been 2,507,471 Covid-19 cases, including 284,036 cases this year, with 2,392,384 complete recoveries to date.
The death toll stood at 22,303 since the beginning of the pandemic, including 605 so far this year.
