A person was shot and killed while sitting in a parked car in Back of the Yards Wednesday night.
The victim, a male whose age was unknown, was attacked in the 1800 block of Garfield Boulevard around 7:50 p.m., Chicago police said.
He put his car in reverse and drove to an intersection in the 5500 block of South Honore Street, police said. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center and pronounced dead, police said.
No one was in custody.
