Former President Donald Trump recently made a statement regarding his stance on vaping, expressing his intention to 'save Vaping' if reelected. This declaration comes despite his administration implementing a partial ban on flavored e-cigarettes back in 2020.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump claimed credit for 'saving Flavored Vaping in 2019,' asserting that it had significantly aided individuals in quitting smoking. He also highlighted that he had raised the minimum age for purchasing vaping products to 21, which he believed helped in keeping these products out of the hands of young individuals.

Furthermore, Trump stated his commitment to 'save Vaping again,' although he did not provide any specific details on how he planned to do so.

It is important to note that Trump also made unsubstantiated claims that President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were in favor of banning vaping entirely, which he argued would have detrimental effects on small businesses across the country. However, neither Biden nor Harris have proposed a ban on vaping.

Trump's remarks have reignited discussions surrounding the regulation of vaping products and the potential impact of such policies on public health and the economy. The debate over the role of government in regulating vaping continues to be a contentious issue, with various stakeholders advocating for different approaches to address the concerns related to vaping.
