Two teenagers missing from Highlands found after Scots cops launch searches

Police in the Highlands have traced two missing teens after they vanished from Inverness. Alise Driksna and Thomas Stevenson had been last seen in the Raigmore area of the city at around 5am on Thursday February 16, sparking a police search.

Officers have since confirmed the pair have been traced 'safe and well' and have thanked the public for their assistance. It is not currently known if their disappearances are connected.

Alise is described as being 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build and with long brown hair. She was last seen wearing a red puffer jacket, lilac jogging bottoms and white trainers.

Thomas is described as being 6ft, of slim build and with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black jogging bottoms, a grey hoodie and black trainers.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We can confirm that Alise Driksna and Thomas Stevenson, both 16, who had been reported missing from Inverness have been traced safe and well.

"Thanks to everyone who helped with our earlier appeal."
