Arpit Guleria will take the place of fellow fast bowler Mayank Yadav in the Lucknow Super Giants' squad after the latter was ruled out of ongoing IPL 2023 due to an injury.
The nature of Yadav's injury, however, is not clear.
Guleria will pocket Rs 20 lakh after being picked as replacement.
In his short domestic career so far, Guleria has taken 44 wickets in 15 first-class matches and 11 wickets in 12 List A Games.
After making his debut in the domestic circuit for Himachal Pradesh, Guleria moved to the Services and plays for them currently.
