Halle Berry enjoyed a laugh at everyone's expense after faking her wedding to beau Van Hunt - with her friends missing out a massive clue that it was all just a big joke.
The Hollywood A-Lister, 55, wowed her Instagram followers with a post revealing that she had married her partner in a stunning secret ceremony.
Her post, which she shared with her 7.4million followers, shows Halle and Van, 51, kissing in a stunning altar scene as Halle wears a flower crown.
A second picture shows the loved up couple beaming at a camera, with "It's 2022!" written across the top, suggesting the wedding took place yesterday.
The actresscaptioned the sweet post: "well…IT’S OFFICIAL!"
Fans and friends wasted no time to congratulate the actress, with messages of congratulations flooding the comments.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson commented: "[clapping emoji] congrats you two!!! Beautiful!!"
Supermodel Naomi Campbell wrote: "Congratulations @halleberry blessings to your beautiful Union".
While actress Meagan Good wrote: "CONGRATULATIONS QUEEN [raised hands emoji] [prayer hands emoji] [brown heart emoji]".
American director Jennia Fredrique penned: "Celebrating you two. Thank you for blessing my timeline with this love…"
The celebratory messages flooded in from a number of famous friends, including: Taraji P Henson, Tia and Tamera Mowry, Octavia Spencer and more.
Halle hasn't shied away from posting a number of photos to Instagram and Twitter over the last four days as the happy couple have indulged in a picture perfect vacation.
The pair have been enjoying a beautiful beach getaway with idyllic waters and calm skies.
The stunning actress has been giving her followers a closer look at her trip, but it was the bombshell post revealing that she has seemingly married Van that has left them stunned.
Many of her followers didn't believe that she is married as a result of the cryptic post, with them taking to the comments to say so.
One follower insisted that she wasn't married and was instead celebrating the New Year, writing: "People they didn’t get married it’s just a post she saying well it’s official is 2022 and she took the picture with her boyfriend [laughing emoji] no congrats yet but love the pose."
A second penned: "She not married. Did y'all see the second slide? [wink emoji]".
While a third said: "You got us good until I swiped right [laughing emoji]".
And a fourth joked: "I see no one scrolled [laughing emoji]".
And TMZ reported that Halle had originally written "#Gotcha" on the post, before editing it out.
Just last month Halle opened up about finding her happily ever after in Van, with her dubbing him the "love of my life" in a moving speech at last year's Annual Celebration of Black Cinema & Television.
The actress was there to accept the Career Achievement Award at the fourth edition of the ceremony, which she attended with her 51-year-old beau in tow.
The loved up couple looked happily in love as they trotted around the event hand in hand.
