Ariana Grande is known for her glam looks and iconic style, but this Halloween the petite star will be remembered for more terrifying reasons.
The singer opted for a less than flattering costume of ‘pig face’ in a nod to cult classic TV show ‘The Twilight Zone’.
The 26-year-old teased the costume, based on the show’s ‘Eye of the Beholder’ episode, with a photo of the show's host Rod Serling uttering his infamous opening line: “What you're about to watch is a nightmare”.
This was soon followed by a short video clip that teasingly showed her dimly lit silhouette, but did not reveal her face.
Ariana later posted the full video of her ‘pig face’ look, which included a retro closeup on the expertly crafted facial prosthetics.
The Scream Queens star then shared a series of creepy black and white Hollywood-glam style pictures with the horrifying face taking centre stage.
Dressed in a fur shawl, Ariana is seen smoking a cigarette in one of the snaps.
She captioned the disturbing post: “Eye of the beholder”.
Comments under the pictures called her a “Halloween icon”, while others simply wrote “terrifying”.
This year’s costume saw Ariana heavily inspired by the iconic 1960 Twilight Zone episode ‘Eye of the Beholder’.
The episode focuses on a young woman who would be considered beautiful by conventional standards, but is ostracised in a society made up of pig-faced people.
