Woman, 31, who 'looks half her age' swears by anti-ageing pillow hack that 'can reduce wrinkles during sleep'

A 31-year-old woman who is often told she looks 'half her age' says her secret is an anti-ageing pillow trick. The beauty influencer often shares her tips and tricks for keeping skin looking young on social media.

The beauty buff, who goes by the name Isabelle.Lux on Tik Tok, swears by the bedtime hack, which only requires paper towels, a pillow and a pillowcase. If done correctly, it could save you hundreds, if not thousands of pounds over the years.

Isabelle says the secret is to sleeping on your back rather than on the side of the face. However, this can prove uncomfortable if you don't get it right - that's where her method comes in.

Explaining on TikTok, Isabelle said: "If you are sleeping on your side, you are creating wrinkles on your face every single night you sleep. And as an (almost) 32-year-old, I have mastered sleeping on my back."

She continued: "But I know it's not that easy for everyone. All you need are paper towels, a pillow and a pillowcase. You literally shove your paper towel rolls — make sure they are nice and full — into a big, old pillow case."

Isabelle demonstrated the trick and said she preferred to use a king size pillow case and a standard size pillow so that gave her more room to stuff the paper towels inside the case. "And then you just spread them apart and you sleep with your head in the middle and yoru head literally can't move," she said while adjusting the paper towels.

"You will be locked into place, you're gonna learn how to sleep on your back and you're welcome in advance." The 31-year-old said the pillow hack can rescue signs of ageing and wrinkles while you sleep. "I'm literally obsessed with this, it's insane!" she exclaimed.

People who struggled to sleep on their back found the tip "useful and genius." But others said they feared of sleep paralysis, reports the Daily Star.

One said: "A true side sleeper will still sleep on the side of the paper towels." "I've tried but I can't, my back hurts so bad," another wrote.

A third thanked Isabelle: "You just saved me hundreds of dollars for a back sleeping pillow."
