Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates) has been crowned as the overall winner at the Giro d’Italia, as he safely navigating his way around the streets of Rome in the maglia rosa on the final stage of the race, which was won by Tim Merlier (Soudal Quick-Step).
Pogačar also won the maglia azzurra in the mountains classification, whilst Jonathan Milan (Lidl-Trek) maintained his lead in the points classification to win the maglia ciclamino and Antonio Tiberi (Bahrain-Victorious) secured the maglia bianca in the youth classification.
