Mary & George

9pm, Sky Atlantic

Julianne Moore’s juicy Jacobean drama gets headier – but it’s way beyond just rollicking romps at this point. As social climbing Mary Villiers (Moore) is named the countess of Buckingham, her son George (Nicholas Galitzine) gets a seat at King James’s (Tony Curran) privy council. Everything is right on plan for the scheming family, until Walter Raleigh returns and George gets a little too involved in his fate. Hollie Richardson

Aldi’s Next Big Thing

8pm, Channel 4

Banana ketchup, anyone? The reality show in which food producers pitch innovative ideas for Aldi’s middle aisle is back for a second series. To start, Stormzy’s personal chef offers a ready meal version of the rapper’s favourite dish, while two butchers introduce their “unholy trinity of meats”. HR

Sort Your Life Out With Stacey Solomon

9pm, BBC One

For the final show in the current run, Solomon and her clean-up crew help the Wellen family decant two generations’ worth of clutter from their overstuffed house. Some of this stuff is easy to ditch – who needs 124 towels? – but when it comes to family keepsakes, powerful emotions come into play. Keep the hankies handy. Graeme Virtue

Ben Fogle: New Lives in the Wild

9pm, Channel 5

What celebrity doing a travel show wouldn’t want to head back to Sri Lanka? But there’s a good reason why Fogle is revisiting the paradise: to catch up with the amazing vet Janey, who has built a life there rescuing street dogs. And he manages to mask his distaste as she happily kisses the mangy strays on the nose. Hannah Verdier

Royal Autopsy

9pm, Sky History

The nation’s favourite historian, Prof Alice Roberts, returns with another series examining royals in the morgue. She starts with the indulgent and overweight George IV – might she and Home Office pathologist Brett Lockyer work out the exact cause of his death? HR

The Dropout

10.40pm, BBC One

The stress-inducing drama about biotech fraudster Elizabeth Holmes continues with another double bill. It is 2013 and Holmes (Amanda Seyfried) is powering ahead with the lucrative Walgreens partnership, dreaming of cool logos and finger puppets. But for iced-out chemist Ian (Stephen Fry), things are much less cheery. GV
