Sophie - who has a younger child Lennie - added: "Nothing prepares you for something like this does it." She posted: "Just being on a childrens' ward, seeing so many innocent little arms bandaged with cannulas. I just can't comprehend this whole thing."

She added: "What I wouldn't give to be back home with all my boys." The cleaning expert - who has a legion of followers online - added: "Ron smiled away in the ambulance. Loved seeing all the buttons and wires and now thinks his cannula is his own little wire of magic."

Sophie signed off saying: "What did we ever do to deserve children. They make this world so beautiful." The 33 year old from Essex is an influencer whose Instagram account features tips for home cleaning. Her cleaning books and her memoir have been included on the Sunday Times Bestseller List.
