Timothée Chalamet, at 28 years old, has made a significant mark in the film industry by becoming the first actor since John Travolta to have two top-grossing films within eight months, a record that has stood for over four decades. His recent films, 'Wonka' and 'Dune: Part Two,' have both surpassed the $200 million mark domestically since July of last year.

The last actor to achieve this rare feat was John Travolta in the 1970s with 'Saturday Night Fever' and 'Grease,' released eight months apart between 1977 and 1978.

'Wonka,' the third live-action adaptation of Roald Dahl's 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,' features Chalamet as Willy Wonka. The film received rave reviews upon its December release, grossing $218 million domestically and $630 million worldwide.

In 'Dune: Part Two,' a sci-fi sequel released on March 1, Chalamet stars as Paul Atreides alongside Zendaya, Austin Butler, Christopher Walken, and Florence Pugh. The film has garnered global success, reaching $494.7 million in box office earnings.

It is anticipated that 'Dune: Part Two' will soon surpass the total gross of 'Wonka,' continuing Chalamet's streak of box office hits. Since his breakout role in 2016's 'Call Me By Your Name,' which earned him an Oscar nomination, Chalamet's career has been on a steady rise.

Chalamet's next project involves portraying Bob Dylan in an upcoming biopic about the legendary singer-songwriter. The film will focus on Dylan's controversial shift to the electric guitar and his evolution into a folk music icon. Chalamet was recently spotted in character as a young Dylan in New York City, strumming a guitar on the streets.

The biopic will feature Chalamet singing as Dylan, following his successful musical performance in 'Wonka.' Joining him in the film are Edward Norton as folk singer Pete Seeger and Elle Fanning as Dylan's love interest, Sylvie Russo.
