Kym Marsh is set to return to Strictly Come Dancing this weekend after she missed the last show due to Covid.
The actress appeared on BBC's Morning Live on Monday to update viewers on what happened and explained she'd had a tough week as her dad was taken to hospital. Kym was joined by her dance partner Graziano di Prima as she said she would be back on the talent show this weekend for the quarter final.
She told viewers: "Start of the week I came down with Covid. That was rubbish. Thankfully I'm testing negative now."

As well as contracting Covid herself, Kym said it had been a "scary" week for the whole family as her dad had been rushed to hospital. She said it was "very scary" for a couple of days but he's doing better now, reports The Mirror.
Graziano said it was the "hardest thing ever" having to watch from home - but the pair have vowed to bring everything to the BBC competition. This week they are reuniting for rehearsals.
"I can't wait to see you," Graziano said as they both admitted they missed each other. "We take for granted that we spend so much time together. Being apart for a week has been strange. It's crazy - but today, I'm going to meet her again," Graziano added.
During Blackpool week, Kym had impressed judges with her Paso Doble as she received a score of 33 out of 40. Head judge Shirley Ballas said of their routine: "I feel like you are in warrior mode. You are here and you are fighting. What I loved, it was so powerful but yet you still kept the femininity," whilst Motsi Mabuse praised Kym's control and energy.
