Donald Trump to testify in New York civil fraud trial

During the recent court proceedings, Trump's attorney redirected her questioning towards a Wall Street Journal article from January 2018 concerning Stormy Daniels' settlement agreement with Trump. Daniels revealed that she had signed a statement denying any sexual encounter with Trump just two days prior to the article's publication.

The attorney, Susan Necheles, probed Daniels about her awareness of the impending article, pointing out that a reporter had contacted her for comment beforehand. Daniels acknowledged that her former lawyer, Keith Davidson, had hinted at an upcoming revelation.

Daniels signed a statement denying a sexual encounter with Trump before the article's publication.

Trump's attorney redirected questioning to a 2018 Wall Street Journal article about Stormy Daniels.

Daniels was aware of the impending article as a reporter had contacted her for comment.

Necheles further inquired whether Daniels recognized the situation as a legal matter being resolved through a formal contract between her lawyer and Michael Cohen, to which Daniels responded affirmatively after a brief pause.
