Kittikachorn revealed that he was only notified about the emergency landing ten minutes before the plane touched down in Bangkok. Upon inspection of the aircraft, it was evident that several passengers had sustained injuries, including broken arms. The severity of the situation prompted medical professionals to initiate an emergency response plan to aid all affected passengers. Initially, most injuries were reported as cuts and bruises.

Evacuating all passengers took approximately one and a half hours due to the chaos caused by the turbulence. The turbulence not only resulted in injuries but also caused significant damage inside the plane, with parts of the ceiling and luggage compartments collapsing.
