When we want to find the perfect pair of jeans, it can be quite the task we dread - thankfully that’s not a thing of the past with In The Style.
Loved and worn by Stacey Solomon, Jacqueline Jossa and Billie Faiers, In The Style’s latest denim campaign is here to showcase their new season ‘fITS denim’ - highlighting the versatility and fit of denim as a fashion staple item in every women's wardrobe.
The campaign focuses on women, wearing different styles, fits and sizes that suit every body (literally)!
So naturally we put three testers to work on one of their best selling styles to the test! Priced at £38, Gemma Sherlock, Stacey Dutton and Sarah Bradbury tried out the Mid Blue Straight Leg Jean.
As for the result? Well we were all quite surprised…
Gemma Sherlock said: “Straight away, I knew they were going to fit and I could feel myself smiling as I slipped them on, only because it's been so long since I felt comfortable in a pair of jeans.
"The jeans snug to my hips and waist perfectly, without being too tight. I did the sit down test, which to me is if you sit down in a new pair of jeans and find yourself gasping for air, or your waist cut in half, then you know they are not for you.
"But these jeans left me a little room but not too much so that they were too big. I really love the colour too and the straight leg makes the bottom part of the pants flare out ever so slightly, making it a stylish statement piece to wear with a pair of boots or chunky trainers.”
Stacey Dutton was equally as surprised by the comfort factor from In The Style’s Straight Leg Jeans and said: “My initial thought was 'just size up, they will be uncomfortable on your tummy', but I didn't listen to the devil on my shoulder and ordered a 10. Thankfully, In The Style have nailed the sizing for me with the straight cut jeans.
"I have now worn this lovely denim fit on two occasions up to now. The first time was at a Bongo's Bingo event on St Patrick's Day, and second time, on a day out with family - and they have passed the comfort test with flying colours!
"I love that they are a really soft, almost stretchy denim with plenty of room for movement - and the way they fit over my trainers and boots, is a really snug fit too.
"I would absolutely recommend this pair to anybody, especially those who struggle with denim fitting correctly in all the right places! I have danced the night away and gone on a big family day out in them, and didn't once even think about missing my oversized joggers I had left behind at home.”
As for Sarah Bradbury? Well she said: “As someone who’s about 6ft tall, I’ve always found it difficult finding a pair of jeans that are long enough - but the Straight Leg Jean? Might even be a little too long!”
“I felt like Goldilocks and the perfect bowl of porridge with these jeans. Not only were they extremely soft - but comfortable and flattering in all the right places too.”
“I’m the typical ‘jeans and a nice top’ kind of gal, and these are 100% my go-to for a night out now! I also love how they're the perfect cut for all seasons - and shoes too!”
