RM Of BTS To Release New Album 'Right Place, Wrong Person'

RM of BTS to release new solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person, on May 24.

RM of BTS, the leader of the popular boy band, is set to release a new solo album titled Right Place, Wrong Person on May 24. This announcement comes despite all seven members of BTS currently being enlisted in the South Korean military, showcasing RM's dedication to his music career.

The upcoming album is described as delving into relatable feelings of being a stranger and out of place. It is said to embody facets of RM as a solo artist, distinct from his work with BTS. Right Place, Wrong Person will feature 11 new songs categorized as 'alternative music,' promising a unique sound experience for listeners.

This isn't RM's first foray into solo music. He released his debut solo album, Indigo, in December 2022, which achieved global success by reaching the top 10 on various music charts. The physical edition of Indigo propelled the album to No. 3 on the Billboard 200, solidifying RM as one of the most successful South Korean solo musicians in the U.S.

Prior to Right Place, Wrong Person, RM has also released two mixtapes in 2015 and 2018, showcasing his versatility and talent as a solo artist. His second mixtape, Mono, marked his debut on the Billboard 200, peaking at No. 26.

Fans eagerly anticipate the release of RM's new album and are eager to discover the unique sound and themes that will be explored in Right Place, Wrong Person. As RM continues to make his mark in the music industry, his solo projects serve as a testament to his artistry and creativity.
