Paris Hilton turned down US President Joe Biden to DJ at Britney Spears' wedding

Paris Hilton said she turned down US President Joe Biden to DJ at Britney Spears' wedding.

The 41-year-old is a longtime pal of the Toxic hitmaker, and as Britney tied the knot with actor and stuntman on Thursday, Paris was on hand to man the decks at the star-studded bash.

She was asked by Britney to DJ at her long-awaited wedding, but Paris revealed that she’d also been asked to DJ at the Summit of the Americas, which would be attended by BIden and leaders from around the world, on the same night.

“I was actually asked to DJ for the President and all of the other presidents around the world for the dinner, but this was more important to me,” the heiress said on her This Is Paris podcast on Friday.

But she refused to divulge any details of Britney’s big day.

“And I’m not going to go into any details because it was the princess bride’s night and that’s her story to tell, but all I can say is that I’m so incredibly happy for her,” Paris said.

“She looked stunning and it just made me so happy to see that she found her fairytale,” she added.

Britney and Sam exchanged vows in a sweet ceremony at her home in Los Angeles on Thursday, surrounded by the singer’s famous friends including Madonna, Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore and Donatella Versace, who designed the star’s gorgeous dress.

Paris, who attended the wedding with new husband Carter Reum, was also on hand to play Madonna’s iconic 1990 hit Vogue, which prompted a singalong from the wedding guests on the dancefloor.

The women have been friends for years, and Pairs said she’s tried to support the troubled star over the years.

And when Britney’s dad Jamie Spears filed to remove himself from the controversial conservatorship, Paris said it was “amazing”.

“I didn’t think anyone was expecting this, but it’s just amazing to hear, to know that Britney is one step closer to having her freedom, which she deserves so much,” she said.

Paris also penned an essay about her relationship with the singer for Time’s 100 Most Influential People list, and called her a “legend”.

“When most people think of Britney Spears, they think of Britney the superstar. She’s iconic. A legend. One of the most influential artists in pop-music history. When I think of Britney Spears, I see the sweetest soul. A mother. A friend. A fighter,” she wrote.
