Paramount Announces Exciting Lineup Of Upcoming Film Releases

The Naked Gun Film series

A long-gestating reboot of the 'Naked Gun' franchise with Liam Neeson is set to hit theaters on July 15, 2025, under Paramount Pictures. The project, directed and executive produced by Avika Schaffer, features a script co-written by Dan Gregor and Doug Man. Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins are producing through their company Fuzzy Door. Additionally, Paramount has added two animated franchise sequels to its release schedule. 'Paw Patrol 3,' produced by Spin Master Entertainment in association with Nickelodeon Movies, is scheduled for July 31, 2026, with distribution by Paramount Pictures. The next installment in the 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' series, titled 'Mutant Mayhem,' directed by Jeff Rowe and produced by Point Grey Pictures, will premiere on Oct. 9, 2026.

On Dec. 25, 2024, the musical 'Better Man,' based on the life of Robbie Williams, will have an exclusive release, followed by a wide release on Jan. 17, 2025. Directed by Michael Gracey, who also co-wrote the script with Simon Gleeson and Oliver Cole, the film is produced by Paul Currie, Michael Gracey, Coco Xiaolu Ma, Jules Daly, and Craig McMahon. 'Novocaine,' a high-concept action film slated for March 14, 2025, follows a bank executive (Jack Quaid) with a rare genetic condition that prevents him from feeling pain. Directed by Robert Olsen and Dan Berk, with a script by Lars Jacobson, the film features executive producers Glen Basner, Sam Speiser, Matt Schwartz, Josh Adler, and Julian Rosenberg, along with producers Drew Simon, Joby Harold, and Tory Tunnell.

Starring Dakota Fanning, 'Vicious' is set to release on Aug. 8, 2025, directed and written by Bryan Bertino. The plot revolves around a young woman fighting for survival as she navigates a disturbing rabbit hole within a mysterious gift from a late-night visitor. 'Vicious' is an Atlas Independent production, with Melinda Whitaker as executive producer and Richard Suckle as producer.
