Mrs Hinch pays gushing birthday tribute to son Ronnie after 'nightmare' hospital stay

Mrs Hinch paid a gushing tribute to her son for his birthday following a 'nightmare' ten days in hospital.

The cleaning sensation, 33, has gone all out for her little boy's big day after he was discharged yesterday.

Ronnie, four today, was rushed to hospital after coming down with a high temperature and underwent tests to reveal he has Kawasaki disease.

Mrs Hinch -real name Sophie Hinchliffe - took to her social media late last night to share the good news that Ronnie was able to be home for his birthday.

She posted a snap of Ronnie's birthday banners as well as a pile of presents and cards.

Sophie said: "We only found out today that we could come home with Ron. So it was a beautiful very emotional surprise.

"My mum bought these to decorate Ron's hospital room for his birthday tomorrow so just being stood here doing this right now whilst Ron's alseep upstairs in his own bed feels surreal. I couldn't wish for anything more."

Ronnie has been diagnosed with Kawasaki disease, which according to the NHS, is "a condition that mainly affects children under the age of five. It's also known as mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome".

"Kawasaki disease can't be prevented. Children can make a full recovery within six to eight weeks if it's diagnosed and treated promptly, but complications can develop." It is not clear what causes the disease.

Mrs Hinch's eldest was discharged on Monday, as she took to Instagram to share the experience which shook "our whole world as a family".

As she posted adorable photos of her smiling son while in hospital, she wrote: "FINALLY 'We can go home now Mummy'

"Ron, you are SO brave, SO strong, SO loved and just beautifully unique darling boy We have spent the past 10 days living whats felt like a real life nightmare."

"But I just wanted to thank you all for so many kind messages and update you all.

"Ron’s temp spiked 40 at home, I phoned an ambulance. Ron was admitted and IV antibiotics started but NOTHING was working, in fact Ronnie deteriorated. The incredible doctors and nurses started every blood test and scan you can imagine.

"We paced rooms and corridors for days just waiting for an answer, a result … anything! Seeing Ron this way kicked me with a fear and desperation I’ve never felt in my whole life.

"What is happening to our son! Please tell me!

"After a couple of days , more symptoms appeared and results returned. Ron was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease, something I had never heard of before."

She added: "OUR VERY SPECIAL RONNIE ROO IS COMING HOME and we are back together as a family at last xxx".
