Michael Beale delivers Rangers transfer promise as boss maps out 'fixed idea' on summer rebuild strategy

Michael Beale has said Rangers will continue their summer shopping spree - but there will be exits ahead too.

Rumours have been rife this week that some senior stars at Ibrox could be on the way out. Antonio Colak is subject of interest from the Bundesliga and Major League Soccer while Glen Kamara is the subject of Besiktas interest. In the way and Rangers are working hard to get deals done for the likes of Jose Cifuentes and Danilo, with the boss now delivering his latest verdict.

He has told fans to expect incomings and that they have a clear idea on what they are working on, after acting fast to bring back Leon Balogun following a bad injury to Leon King. He told Rangers TV: "There's going to be more signings coming in and out. We have a really fixed idea on some of the work we're doing. It's ongoing.

"Hence with Leon King's situation, we wanted to act fast and Leon is someone I have been speaking to the last few weeks. He has been working away with his fitness and is in a good place.

"We are delighted he can join us and it is a friendly face for all to see. It's important we have a little bit of grey hair in the playing staff, he is a player I know well and see no risk in that sense.

"It's important we have four senior centre-backs fighting and pushing. We know the issues we had in that position last year."
