Love Island's Gabby Jeffery fuels fan theory she was 'picked' by ITV bosses to split one couple up

Geordie bombshell Gabby Jeffery has fuelled a theory from Love Island viewers that she was brought in by producers for Casa Amor for one main reason - to split up Tyrique Hyde and Ella Thomas.

Gabi, or Gabby as she is known 'on her socials, went into the main villa during Sunday night's show as one of six new girls, who joined the lads as part of this year's Casa twist, while the girls from the main villa get to know six new boys in Casa Amor. And as soon as fans at home saw Gabby, they automatically predicted that she would be very much Tyrique's type and looked very similar to Ella.

They are sure that Love Island bosses have picked her to try and get Tyrique's head to turn and, thinking exactly that, one viewer tweeted: "gabi was handpicked for Tyrique," with another responding: "So they went to find a clone of Ella(Gabi) for Tyrique and a piece of home (Ouzy) for Ella... Love Island definitely here to destabilise that home!" Along the same lines, a third reacted: "Gabi looks so much like Ella, I just know Tyrique is FOLDING."

Interestingly enough, in her interview before going into the Love Island, Gabby didn't mention Tyrique when quizzed on what boy she had her eye on, instead saying: "My top three are Zach, Scott and Mitch. They are all really handsome but I like all of their individual personalities. I think Mitch is super outgoing and has a fun side to him, Zach seems really laid back and chilled which I also like. Scott for me seems like a mixture of both so I’m excited to see what they are all like in person."
