Illegal Immigrants Flown To Montana Causing Bipartisan Concern

U.S. Supreme Court allows Texas law on suspected illegal immigrants to take effect

Lawmakers in Montana are expressing deep concern after a group of illegal immigrants, reportedly from Venezuela, were flown into the state on a late-night flight. The migrants arrived in Kalispell, Montana, and were provided housing by a local nonprofit organization. This incident has raised alarm among both Democrat and Republican officials in the state.

Flathead County Sheriff Brian Heino confirmed the arrival of the migrants and stated that this was just one of many instances of illegal immigrants being brought into Montana. Republican Representative Ryan Zinke criticized the Biden Administration for the situation, attributing the influx of migrants to the ongoing border crisis.

Rep. Zinke called for immediate action, urging Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas to detain and deport the group of illegal immigrants. Senator Jon Tester, a Democrat, also expressed concern, emphasizing the importance of proper vetting and legal processes for individuals entering the country.

Senator Steve Daines, another Republican official, placed blame on President Biden and Senate Democrats for failing to secure the border effectively. Governor Greg Gianforte and Rep. Matt Rosendale echoed similar sentiments, calling for accountability and a reversal of the current immigration policies.

Former Navy SEAL Tim Sheehy, a Republican Senate candidate, criticized the handling of the migrant crisis and called for stronger border security measures. The incident in Montana comes in the wake of a House Homeland Security Committee subpoena regarding a parole program that allowed hundreds of thousands of migrants to enter the U.S. through various cities.
