Grammys 2024: The Ultimate Guide – Date, Where to Watch, Nominees, and the Star-Studded Lineup

The 2024 Grammy Awards ceremony is taking place on Sunday, February 4th, at Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena. The gala's most special guest is Jon Bon Jovi, who has been named 'Person of the Year', although most nominees are women, with SZA leading the group with nine nods for her hit album "SOS."

Other multi-nominated artists competing for the 66th Grammy Awards are Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, and Victoria Monét. All of them aspire to win in the three major categories of best album, record, and song. Jon Batiste is the only male artist in the group.

The soundtrack of the "Barbie" film could make history. The music of the movie has 11 nominations in seven categories, highlighting the work of artists like Eilish, Dua Lipa, Nicki Minaj, and Sam Smith. Ironically, the Oscar-nominated "I Am Ken" by Ryan Goslin didn't get any Grammy love.

Latino artists at the Grammys

Songwriter and producer Édgar Barrera has already made Grammy history this year. The Mexican American artist is the first person in Grammy's history to be nominated for songwriter of the year for music done totally in Spanish.

Venezuelan orchestra director Gustavo Dudamel has two nominations in the classical categories (for best orchestral performance and best classical compendium).

However, there were some big disappointments for Latin music fans in this year's Grammy nominations. Latino artists were not included in any of the leading categories (album, record, and song of the year); the best música urbana album category had only three nominees. Although Peso Pluma is up for best música Mexicana album for Génesis, he wasn't mentioned in the new artist category, as he very much deserved.

The year's biggest event for music lovers will start on Sunday, February 4th, at 12:30 p.m. PT/ 3:30 p.m. ET, with a ceremony to announce the winner in the categories that won't make it to the broadcast ceremony, including the ones dedicated to Latin Music Awards. Artists you can see at the 2024 Grammys

Lenny Kravitz, Christina Aguilera, Lionel Richie, Mark Ronson, Maluma, Meryl Streep, Samara Joy, Taylor Tomlinson, and Oprah Winfrey are all confirmed to take the GRAMMY stage as presenters.

The list of performers ranges from 20-year-old Olivia Rodrigo to 80-year-old music legend Joni Mitchell. Billy Joel will perform his just-released single "Turn the Lights Back On." Luke Combs and Tracy Chapman will team up to perform "Fast Car," which Combs revived last year. Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, Travis Scott, SZA, Burna Boy, 21 Savage, Brandy, Mitchell, and Brandi Carlile, and U2 (from Las Vega's Sphere) will also take the Grammy stage.

During the ceremony, Jon Bon Jovi will be celebrated as 'Person of the Year'. His legacy was recognized at a special ceremony sponsored by MaestroCares with performances from rock icons like Melissa Etheridge, Bruce Springsteen, Goo Goo Dolls, Shania Twain, and Damiano David from Maneskin.
