Gogglebox star teases return as Channel 4 prepares to mark 10 years of the hit show

Gogglebox star Sandi Bogle says she would love to make a grand return to the Channel 4 series to help celebrate a decade of the show being on air.

The 57-year-old was a regular commentator in the cast of the hit TV show when it launched back in 2013 and featured on the series alongside her friend Sandra Martin.

Now Sandi hopes Channel 4 bosses will bring her back to the series for an epic reunion special next month to mark 10 years of the show being on air.

And the reality star, who used to be beamed around the UK while reviewing TV from her home in Brixton, London.

Sandi told the Daily Star: “I think they will do something special. That’s what the fans are crying out for. And if it does happen, I would be happy to go back.

“Of course I would want to be part of it. I’m one of the originals. I’d just be me.”

Sandi added: “Gogglebox is an amazing concept. The show is a success because it has different types of people in it. They’re everyday people. It’s real.

Sandi departed Gogglebox in 2016 after featuring across eight seasons - while her friend Sandra went on to share a sofa with her daughter Chanchez before they both quit following season nine.

Sandi, left, became a household name by watching TV alongside her friend, Sandra (Channel 4)

Away from Gogglebox, Sandi has made a name for herself by appearing on a string of other shows including Famous and Fighting Crime, Celebrity Big Brother, and Celebrity Fit Farm.

A number of other Gogglebox stars have managed to spin reality star careers after appearing on the show.

Dominic Parker appeared on the series from 2013 until 2016 and went on to be a contestant on The Jump and Celebrity MasterChef.

While former failed reality star Scarlett Moffatt finally found the fame she was hungry for by appearing on Gogglebox from 2014 until 2016 and then going on to win I’m A Celeb.

The show has spawned a celebrity spin off version with a range of stars sharing their views from inside their own homes.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell, Oasis rocker Liam Gallagher, Spice Girl Mel C and TV talk show legend Lorraine Kelly have been among the stars featuring on the show.
