Gabri Veiga transfer prediction made as Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham in £34m battle

Celta Vigo starlet Gabri Veiga seems to be one of Europe's hottest properties right now, with a host of clubs linked with a move during the summer transfer window.

Veiga enjoyed a breakout 2022/23 campaign, netting 11 goals in La Liga and providing a further four assists - numbers that read even more impressive when you consider that he is a midfielder. The youngster's ball-carrying ability, combined with his intelligent decision-making in the final third is far more refined than you would expect from a player who is still only 21-years-old.

His eye-catching talent certainly hasn't gone unnoticed either, with Ligue 1 giants Paisi Saint-Germain mooted as a potential destination recently. However, Le10sport have now claimed that PSG are not currently focused on pursuing Veiga, instead keen to sign Manchester City star Bernardo Silva.

The report goes on to claim that Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are all vying to sign the Spanish Under-21 international, who is said to be expected to make the move to a Premier League side this summer. Veiga would cost any of the three London clubs €40million (£34million) as that is his release clause, with Celta Vigo president Carlos Mourino insisting that the talented playmaker will not leave for anything less.

“We do not want to sell Gabri Veiga, but they are going to buy him from us, and there is nothing we can do,” Mourino told Mundo Deportivo back in March. "We know some of their offers, and it is impossible to get there."
