Delivering three Friday tips, Paul O’Brien is backing Tonal for back-to-back wins at Wolverhampton.
Sixties Chic (4.10pm, Wolverhampton) @ 11/4
This four-year-old filly had two wins over this 6f distance at Lingfield on December 5 and at this course on November 17. After one disappointing run at the end of last year she was tried at 7f and both times she was in contention but struggled inside the final furlong.
She is only one pound higher in the handicap than her last victory and Rossa Ryan, who had four winners at Wolverhampton last Friday, is in the saddle. Opening up at 10/1, Sixties Chic has been hammered into second-favourite.
Tonal (7.15pm, Wolverhampton) @ 6/5
Was a comfortable winner last Saturday over the same course and distance, staying on well to win by a length. The four-year-old subsequently received a 6lb penalty but can overcome that and is reunited with champion apprentice jockey Billy Loughnane, who rode him to his recent success.
Beauty Choice (7.45pm, Wolverhampton) @ 11/2
This seven-year-old gelding won last time out over 7f at this track on January 19. He was up late to win on the line and relished the extra furlong compared with his previous four outings. This race is over 1m 142y and he is carrying just an extra 2lbs due to his last win. He is highly respected in this class and teams up again Joanna Mason after that success last month.
