However, they have not been briefed on what to expect during the conference. Carlos Suazo Sandoval mentioned that they plan to attend the conference and pose questions.
As of 5:35 p.m. ET, the news conference had not yet commenced. An official cited traffic issues for some attendees as the reason for the delay.
