Edward Enninful: Vogue's last editor in chief runs iconic final cover

Legendary! So declares the March issue of British Vogue as the magazine’s final editor-in-chief, Edward Enninful, bows out with its best ever cover. The magazine is unlikely to top this. The 40 faces fronting the issue are, to use the latest cover’s wording, “icons”. Behind the scenes of the shoot, model Adwoa Aboah was on selfie duty, capturing the smiles and pouts of Jane Fonda, Oprah Winfrey, Gigi Hadid, Dua Lipa, Maya Jama and Karlie Kloss. Enninful was on set and got a cuddly snap with Lipa.

Getting all of them together for one cover shoot was an impressive feat, the kind of thing only someone with Enninful’s clout and connections could achieve. He has left some very big shoes to fill as he moves on to become the magazine’s “global creative and cultural adviser”, reporting to Anna Wintour. But what next for the mag? With its imminent move to a soulless new office block and the departure of a great editor, new “head of editorial content” Chioma Nnadi has quite a task on her hands.

Stars out as Ibiza arrives in east London

Fancy an Ibiza night out without the plane fare? You’re in luck. Private members’ club Blue Marlin Ibiza launched its fourth venue in east London last night, attracting the stars. Actor and singer Denise Van Outen, designer Nina Suess, photographer Alistair Guy, actress Jemma Bolt, TV personality Sophie Hermann and daughter of Spice Girl Mel B, Phoenix Chi Brown, were out to celebrate. Was it as wild as Ibiza? Hard to say.
