The New Orleans Saints signed Derek Carr because they think he can be the quarterback that wins them their first NFC South title since … 2020. And, as long as their ambitions don’t extend any further, they’re probably right.
Carr can absolutely win the fourth-best division in the NFC. At the very least, the veteran certainly seems to have the requisite physique for it. One might even say that he’s working on his … curl routes.
On Wednesday night, the Saints shared a picture of Carr running with the ball in his hands. Normally, capturing a quarterback trying to make a play would be nothing to write home about. Except, here, Carr had his sleeves rolled up, and his arms looked positively jacked.

I mean … man, I can’t tell if Carr has always been that ripped or if this is a recent look, but what a still photo.
