'Creepy' new sci-fi horror series leaves viewers 'too scared to sleep' after watching

Horror enthusiasts have been left too scared to sleep after watching a “scary and creepy” new series on NOW TV.

Seasoned telly fans claimed they had nightmares after viewing FROM on the streaming platform.

The series’ second season dropped on the entertainment service last month after a successful debut last February.

And the new sci-fi horror season, starring Harold Perrineau and Catalina Sandino Moreno, appears to have made a real lasting impact on viewers.

It follows the story of a mysterious US town that imprisons anyone who enters it.

The small town’s trapped residents try to find a way out while surviving only on treats from the surrounding forests.

As the inhabitants struggle to maintain a sense of normality, viewers of the show have been left terrified by the show’s bone-chilling twists and turns.

The programme, created by John Griffin, has forced fans to take to social media to express their fear over the storylines.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer exclaimed: “That show really f**ked me man. Can’t sleep.”

Another said: 'I’ve never been so scared of a TV show!”

A third disturbed viewer penned: “I am completely and utterly OBSESSED and in love with #From. Easily one of my fav shows in a long time. I’ve never been so scared of a tv show, literal nightmares at night but still want more. It needs to stay on forever, sunday has become my fav day of the week!” [sic]

A fourth wrote: “I haven't watched anything that's as scary and creepy as #FROM. this show is absolutely scary, but i'm a mystery and sci-fi nerd, so i will soldier on.”

Another terrified fan quipped: “Whoever told me to watch #From I hate you, it’s so good but yet terrifying asf!”

It comes after Netflix viewers were left too scared to sleep after watching a 'terrifying' Dakota Johnson -fronted movie called Wounds.

The 2019 movie stars Armie Hammer and Dakota, 33, and is written and directed by Babak Anvari, who mainly writes psychological horror films.

Wounds, which also stars Zazie Beetz, is based on the novella The Visible Filth by Nathan Ballingrud.
