Conservative Conference To Feature Potential Trump Running Mates

Trump Organization trial in New York State Supreme Court in New York

An influential conservative group, the Faith & Freedom Coalition (F&F), recently unveiled the lineup for its upcoming annual conference, the Road to Majority Conference. This event, scheduled for June 20-22 at the Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C., is set to feature prominent figures from the conservative Christian community.

The F&F Coalition, boasting over 3 million members nationwide, is recognized as a leading Christian grassroots organization in the United States. The Road to Majority Conference is renowned as the largest public policy gathering of conservative Christian activists in the country, focusing on key policy issues crucial to voters of faith in anticipation of the 2024 election.

Among the notable speakers slated to address the conference are Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Dr. Ben Carson, former Hawaii Representative Tulsi Gabbard, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham, and Tennessee Senator Bill Hagerty.

Of particular interest is the speculation surrounding Youngkin, Noem, Carson, and Gabbard as potential running mates for former President Trump. This event presents an opportunity for these individuals to showcase their policy stances on critical issues such as abortion and family values, which could influence Trump's decision-making process as he considers his vice-presidential candidate.

Ralph Reed, the founder of F&F, emphasized the significance of mobilizing voters of faith in the upcoming election, citing the substantial impact this demographic has on the Republican vote. Reed highlighted the importance of addressing key issues like abortion and the economy to engage and energize this voter base.

While Democrats may seek to emphasize certain topics like abortion, Reed expressed confidence that voters driven by such issues would not necessarily align with the Democratic Party on all fronts. He underscored the need for a strong turnout among voters of faith to secure victory in the 2024 election.

As the conference approaches, Reed hinted at the possibility of additional speakers being added to the lineup, further enriching the discussions and perspectives shared at the event. With the Road to Majority Conference poised to be a pivotal gathering for conservative Christian activists and policymakers, the stage is set for robust dialogue and strategic insights to shape the political landscape leading up to the next presidential election.
