Celebrity Gogglebox: X Factor judge and popular singer-songwriter to critique hottest shows in new series

The line-up for the upcoming series of Channel 4's Celebrity Gogglebox has been revealed, with a X Factor judge and popular singer-songwriter amid the celebrities morphing into armchair critics this series. The much-loved reality show is set to return to our screens very shortly, this time with a slightly different cast.

Since mentoring iconic girl 2010s girl band Little Mix to their victory on The X Factor in 2011, Tulisa Contostavlos has scarcely appeared on our screens. But this is set to change soon, as the former judge, 34, is due to reunite with her N-Dubz bandmates Dappy, 36, and Fazer, also 36, on the Channel 4 show.

It's set to be a big year for the hip hop trio, who will release their first album in 13 years, Timeless, this summer after making a comeback in 2022. A source told The Sun: "Gogglebox bosses are always looking for new stars to sign up and after N-Dubz made their comeback last year it seemed like a no brainer."

The insider added: "All three of them don't hold back when it comes to their opinions so mix that with the fact they are all related it's the perfect new dynamic for the show."

N-Dubz will be joining Celebrity Gogglebox fan favourites Rylan and his mum, Linda, Denise Van Outen and Duncan James, as well as Mo Gilligan and Babatunde Aleshe on the show. But they won't be the only newcomers, as singer-songwriter Tom Grennan is due to join the cast with his dad.

The 28-year-old said of his upcoming stint with his dad: "I've said to him to be ready to become a national treasure. We've always been fans of the show and are both buzzing to be part of it."

N-Dubz have already released "Habiti", the lead single of their upcoming album. The trio have plenty of things in the works with regards to their recently resumed music careers, and are set to take to the main stage at the Isle of Wight Festival on Saturday, June 17, before performing a headline show at Margate's Dreamland next month.

The new series of the hit series kicks off this Friday, June 16 at 10pm.
