Barron Trump Selected As Delegate For Republican National Convention

Donald Trump to testify in New York civil fraud trial

Former President Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron Trump, has been selected as an at-large delegate for Florida at the Republican National Convention by the Florida GOP. Barron joins other family members such as Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and Tiffany Trump, who were also chosen as delegates. Additionally, Trump's longtime friend and luxury real estate developer, Steve Witkoff, and Trump ally Sergio Gor are listed as delegates as well.

The Trump campaign has been contacted for comment regarding Barron Trump’s selection. This news was first reported by a source.

Prior to the start of Donald Trump’s hush money criminal trial, his attorneys requested May 17 off so that he could attend Barron’s graduation. The judge granted the request, stating that proceedings were moving swiftly enough to allow for the day off.

The Republican National Committee is scheduled to hold its convention in Milwaukee in July. Recently, the RNC requested the Secret Service to increase the distance between protesters and the convention site due to safety concerns.

RNC counsel Todd Steggerda expressed concerns about the current proposal by the city of Milwaukee, citing potential safety risks for attendees and demonstrators. The Secret Service, in response, emphasized that the operational security plan for the convention is developed in coordination with various agencies to ensure the highest level of safety and security.

Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, has hinted at announcing his running mate around the time of the RNC convention in July. He has been considering several names for the position, both publicly and privately.
