Amazon shoppers can snap up Apple AirPods for less than £100 in Prime Day deal

Apple tech fans unite as Amazon is currently selling second generation AirPods for less than £100 as part of their alluring Prime Day promotion.

The two-day sale has officially landed, with some serious savings to be had in the world of ever-evolving technology - with Apple at the forefront with savings of 29 per cent on the sleek listening devices which pack a punch.

Usually retailing for a price point of £139, music and podcast fans can today bag the 2nd Gen wireless earphones from Amazon for just £99 - far cheaper than competing retailers Very (£129) and Argos (£139).

Compatible with most iPhones, iPads and Mac computers, the Bluetooth earphones allow users to listen to their favourite tracks for extended periods of time, with a rich and high quality ensured.

With a five-hour battery life on the buds themselves, as well as a 24-hour charging case life, you won't be constrained to charging your AirPods at the wall like you will with some cheaper options.

Perfect for gym-lovers and walkers alike, the lack of wires allows users to complete tasks without worrying about getting tangled or snagged too.

The ever-evolving technology of Apple products also pauses music when an earbud is removed, so no more pesky scrambling for your mobile device to turn down the music to talk.

Simply pop out the earbud and the AirPods will cut off the stream, before playing again once inserted once more after conversation.

You'll need to be a Prime member in order to take advantage of this deal, as well as to gain access to a range of exclusive special offers on Prime Day.

A subscription to Prime usually costs £8.99 a month, but if you're a new customer you can sign up to a free trial of the service - which also gives you free premium and same-day delivery on orders, as well as including Prime Video, Amazon Music, and Prime Reading.

As an extra perk, Amazon is making Kindle Unlimited available free for three months for new Prime Members who sign up for the service, meaning subscribers will be able to access millions of books, thousands of audiobooks and magazines at no extra cost.

A Kindle Unlimited subscription would normally set you back £9.49 a month at full price.
