Aldi is hoping to help ease the financial pressure people are currently facing with a fund worth £250,000.
The budget-friendly supermarket is known and loved for its extensive array of household goods including food, cleaning supplies, homeware, accessories, and plenty more.
It consistently strives to be the cheapest supermarket, recently coming out on top against rival supermarkets like Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury's in a comparison study by consumer group, Which?.

Now, the discount chain store is doing its part to help people who may be struggling financially this winter. It's no secret Christmas is a costly time of year, but many people's expenditure has been exacerbated by the ongoing cost of living crisis.
According to food poverty campaigners, Merseyside is facing a "tsunami" as it continues to battle the consistent and increasing financial strain on households. In the wake of such issues, Aldi has launched its Emergency Winter Foodbank Fund.
The supermarket's new fund will see it donate £250,000 to help organisations as they prepare to face heightened demand on services. The fund builds on Aldi's established partnership with community engagement platform Neighbourly, which enables all of Aldi's 980 UK stores to donate surplus food seven days a week, all year round.
Giles Hurley, Aldi's UK and Ireland CEO, commented: "Our thoughts are with those who may be struggling this Christmas and Aldi has launched an Emergency Winter Foodbank Fund worth £250,000 to support charities, foodbanks and community groups across the country.
"We will also once again be donating surplus unsold food to local charities and foodbanks once stores close on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, as part of our long-established partnership with Neighbourly."
