On Thursday, a total of 190 individuals were safely evacuated from a plane in Turkey after one of its tires burst during landing at Gazipasa airport near the Mediterranean coastal town of Alanya. The Boeing 737-800, operated by Corendon Airlines, had just completed a flight from Cologne, Germany, with 184 passengers and six crew members on board.

The aircraft came to a safe stop on the runway, and despite initial reports, the airline denied that the plane had landed on its nose. The Turkey Transport and Infrastructure Ministry confirmed damage to the front landing gear of the plane, although specific details were not provided.

No injuries among 184 passengers and six crew members on board.

Fortunately, there were no injuries reported among the passengers or crew. The runway itself remained undamaged, but flights were redirected to Antalya airport while the affected aircraft was being cleared from the scene.

This incident marked the second aviation emergency in Turkey within a span of two days. The previous day, a Boeing 767 cargo plane operated by FedEx Express had to make an emergency landing at Istanbul Airport due to a malfunction with its front landing gear. Once again, all crew members safely evacuated the aircraft, and there were no injuries reported.
