Filippo Ganna finally got his time trial win for Ineos Grenadiers, beating Tadej Pogačar by 29 seconds in today's ITT.
Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates) extended his lead in the general classification, while behind him Geraint Thomas moved up from third to second place.
There were other movements in the GC which may continue as we move into the Giro's hardest mountain stage tomorrow.
