Workers at Livingston’s Kirk Lane Nursing Home have raised the impressive sum for MND Scotland.

The women - Sandra Lewis (team leader), Fiona Fung (charge nurse), joined by Anne Strachan, daughter of resident Margaret Green, raised the cash by taking part in Kilt Walk event, trekking from Clydebank to Loch Lomond.

A spokesperson for the home said: “We are so proud of our team for their superb effort in walking 14.4 miles in the pouring rain to raise money for MND Scotland.

“The Kilt Walk went from Clydebank to Loch Lomond and took them over four hours to complete.

“Two of the team, and Margaret, presented Gillian McManus, from MND Scotland Charity with a cheque for £3015.”
