Developer Sumo Leamington announced that Stampede: Racing Royale is releasing this summer. The 60-player battle royale kart is going to be available for Xbox Game Preview and Steam Early Access. It's a good way to practice laps ahead of the official launch and let players share feedback as the development team continues to fine tune the game.

For PC players, they'll need to keep a close watch on the game's Steam page especially for new on upcoming Playtests. That said, the Game Preview and Early Access launch is sure to be an excellent introduction to the game. The full Early Access content roadmap is slated to be shared closer to the summer launch.

Stampede: Racing Royale invites 60 players to race against each other in three-round eliminator events which then culminates in a high-stakes finale to crown the winner. Rounds include Stampede Races, which offer classic karting action on what can be described outrageously inventive circuits against up to 59 other opponents. Then there's Stampede Battles where competitors are locked in power-up laden arenas to fight their way to victory.

Aside from racking victories, players can keep racing to unlock new vehicles along with endless customization options. They can grab their favorite kart and make it their own through custom paints. They can even dress their character in the finest threads to make sure they stand apart from the pack.

It's not just simple racing since there's always something to do in the world of Stampede. There are Seasons, Events, and Challenges, among others, that's sure to make racing even more fun. Players can take on the tracks solo or experience more chaotic action with friends and family.

The game is being developed by Sumo Leamington. This studio was established back in March 2019 and managed by a team of industry veterans having deep experience of service-based games. The vision of the studio is to create games that players keep coming back to.

Serving as the game's publisher is Secret Mode, which is the publishing wing of Sumo Group. It has 18 development studios across different regions along with third party independent game developers. The company believes that games are for everyone and that creativity has no limits.
