The answers to today's Quordle, game #845, are…

  • HUMPH
  • SHARD
  • LABOR
  • CROWD

I love the word HUMPH; it has a lovely onomatopoeic quality to it. However, it might have caused you some problems in Quordle today, because it's not the most common word in the English language and has a slightly unusual format with a repeated H but no C, S or T, the letters with which H most commonly pairs. That aside, this Quordle is not too tricky, although I lost one guess to LABOR, going for VALOR first.
